Detecting transition between Abelian and non-Abelian topological orders through symmetric tensor networks

چکیده
We propose a unified scheme to identify phase transitions out of the $\mathbb{Z}_2$ Abelian topological order, including transition non-Abelian chiral spin liquid. Using loop gas and string states [H.-Y. Lee, R. Kaneko, T. Okubo, N. Kawashima, Phys. Rev. Lett. 123, 087203 (2019)] on star lattice Kitaev model as an example, we compute overlap minimally entangled through transfer matrices. demonstrate that, similar anyon condensation, continuous deformation $\mathbb{Z}_2$-injective projected entangled-pair state (PEPS) also allows us study between orders. show that charge flux anyons defined in transmute into $\sigma$ order. Furthermore, contrary claim [Phys. B 101, 035140 (2020)], both LG SG have infinite correlation length regime, consistent with no-go theorem PEPS has gapless parent Hamiltonian.

متن کاملFirst non-abelian cohomology of topological groups II
In this paper we introduce a new definition of the first non-abelian cohomology of topological groups. We relate the cohomology of a normal subgroup $N$ of a topological group $G$ and the quotient $G/N$ to the cohomology of $G$. We get the inflation-restriction exact sequence. Also, we obtain a seven-term exact cohomology sequence up to dimension 2. We give an interpretation of the first non-a...
متن کاملTopological entanglement in Abelian and non-Abelian excitation eigenstates.
Entanglement in topological phases of matter has so far been investigated through the perspective of their ground-state wave functions. In contrast, we demonstrate that the excitations of fractional quantum Hall (FQH) systems also contain information to identify the system's topological order. Entanglement spectrum of the FQH quasihole (QH) excitations is shown to differentiate between the conf...
متن کاملNon-abelian Tensor-multiplet Anomalies
We use the anomaly cancellation of the M-theory fivebrane to derive the R-symmetry anomalies of the AN (0, 2) tensor-multiplet theories. This result leads to a simple derivation of black hole entropy in d = 4,N = 2 compactifications of M -theory. We also show how the formalism of normal bundle anomaly cancellation clarifies the Kaluza-Klein origin of Chern-Simons terms in gauged supergravity th...
